We went last sunday and got a few, but I wound up with a stomach virus late sunday night and only ate 1/2 of my red velvet cupcake, I was so sick for the next few days I never got to finish it.
We bought 3 cupcakes and they gave me a free coffee...which was good, but strong.
DD loved that they had free samples of the mini cupcakes...who am I kidding...so did I

Is the Woodbury location open yet???
I answered my own question it is opening now in February..
We love crumbs.. My husband has a location by his office downtown... He is going to bring some home for Valentines Day!!
it is expensive but 1 cupcake is good enough for 2 people..

Well, my big VDay surprise for my hubby was cupcakes from Crumbs. I didn't have a very good experience there.
First, I was going to buy 4 (2 Vday and 2 other) MAYBE 6 (for the in laws) if the price was ok... except there were no prices for a 6 pack... no prices except on the individual cupcakes. I thought that was really strange.
So, after being ignored first, I start to order, say my first 2 and the lady behind the counter can't hear me. I say it again and she gets them, turns around, puts them in a 2 cupcake box then walks over to the register. I realize she's apparently done with our transaction, so I walk over there and THEN she asks if I would like anything else.  Since it would cost me for another container (yes, they add a charge for each CONTAINER you use - she had just told that to another customer) and she didn't seem to actually want me to buy anymore I just said no. I was disappointed!
So the cupcakes were all right. Better than supermarket but I've had much better. Mine had a little cookie heart - tasted ok, the fondant? icing? was the best. DH had a brownie heart on his - it was OK but no better than boxed brownies.
The cupcake itself.. the cake was good, moist (I'd read that they can be dry and crumbly, but mine as fine). My biggest complaint was the icing ... it was like nothing. Thinner than buttecream, it didn't taste like sugar or butter or really ANYTHING. It was sooooo disappointing!!!! 
I wouldn't turn dwen another cupcake from there but i'm in no hurry to pay for another rude worker and tasteless frosting.

We stopped in a few weeks ago, unimpressed to say the least!! Especially for the all the "NYC" hype.

The Woodbury one is now open...my neighbor brought us a sampler from the Woodbury store last night
