Multiple listings at one company
I am currently applying for jobs (will be graduating in a month or so). There are several companies which have multiple job listings. I am qualified for more then one of them and am wondering should I apply for each separately or do you think if I apply for one they will see that I am also qualified for other positions within the company.
I just feel like applying for 5-6 positions (ie sending my resume 5-6 times) is overkill, but I don't know how HR handles things like that.

Re: Multiple listings at one company
No, apply to each one. I am in HR and we have a system where a candidate creates a login, then can apply to each position. When I go in to check my applications I see "Jane Doe. Applied for: Data Entry Clerk, Customer Service Rep and Administrative Asst". Then I take a look and see if / which one they are qualified for. HTH.

Re: Multiple listings at one company
Thanks. Most of the places I am applying to have login systems similar to what you describe, so I guess I am better off applying for them all.
