My update
We moved in to our new house last weekend and while I've been on here I really haven't had a chance to write an update in the last few weeks.
Well, 1st IUI didn't work. My progestone was a 10.5 on 7 DPO. I received conflicting reports from the nurses/doctors as to what was considered a good number. One nurse told me nothing less than 12 but my doctor said she was "thrilled" at my number and didn't think I needed progestone supplements. So I went in for my pregnancy test and, of course, my progestone plummeted. This was my fear because in the rare chance I have ovulate in the past I always had a short luteal phase. I had to bring this up and push the issue.
So I started another cycle of 150mm of Clomid for 7 days and 2.5mg of prednesone in the morning and at bedtime to control my hormone imbalance.
FF to Tuesday... sonogram showed a 22mm follie and a 10mm one this time on my right side, nothing on the left but my bloodwork showed I wasn't surging on my own like last time so I ordered the shot, had it delvered... hard to stay up to 10pm when you had to get up at 4:30 for that mornings RE appointment . Went back to the RE on Wednesday morning and they administered the shot... I was too worried about screwing it up. Felt melancholy last night for no reason... probably just the hormones. I know we weren't supposed to but DH and I BD last night because I was worried they were not going to get the timing of the IUI right.
DH went in with me this morning. He "produced" at 7:25 (He's still upset that they have the same lousy 2 porno tapes but "ahem" when asked said he watched them anyway I took a half day from work but only had a sub in for the first half and had to be back at school by 11. They didn't take me until 9:45. I WAS P I S S E D off!!! I could barely lay on the table more than 10 minutes. Reminded them of the progesterone and thendrove to teach my AP World History class the "joys" of the Third Reich under Hitler
So now I'm back at home waiting for the delivery of the suppositories and waiting for DH to come home so we can BD again. He was oh so happy when I said we are going to BD constantly until I get a positive or AF or it just falls off or I collapse from exhaustion.
I can't stay up from 4:30 am to 10pm and teach the wacky teenagers Nevermind so much is still in boxes and I have to find my clothes via flashlight in the morning becaus we don't have enough lamps.
Sorry so long. Had to vent a little.
So I'm back in the 2ww. Come on baby... to all.
ETA: I'm still at RSofNY because my insurance does not cover NSUH. I have a 50K lifetime benefit and pay no co-pays for visits. I've been told it's the best insurance out there for infertility. If I go to NSUH I will have to pay at least 20% if not more for many procedures so despite my frustrations at RSofNY I'm going to stick it out a bit longer and hope I get preggos there.

Re: My update
WOW! What an update, but thanks cause Im always looking for your updates!
YOU know , so I wont feel bad, that I wish you could get the heck out of RSONY. Im APPALLED by the care they have given you and I lost 100% of my faith in them....I do understand the insurance factor though, BUT Im still going to suggest maybe seeing if any of the other clinics take it. I have still heard nothing but horror stories about mis diagnosis's etc and I WANT you to get PG girl!!!!
So 2ww here you come!
Praying for you!
TAKE it easy, WHO cares about all the unpacking, cause it will still be tehre in 14 days, so try to take it easy ok?

Re: My update
Theresa, it sounds like you had progress this cycle. Perhaps they are finally figuring out that they need to individualize care at RS...
I wish you tons of baby dust !!!
May you be able to leave RS soon and with a BFP !!!!
Sometimes we just need to be practical..:)
