I made something similar for dinner last night  (except they probably weren't too light haha)
I call them "white people tacos" b/c my mom made them...and I am married to a central american so it's how I differentiate  
enjoy!!!!

chicken and broccoli and rice (as always too) my dh is chinese and will only eat rice (rarely eats pasta)

spanish DH here. He has no problem eating 2 starches, I have to think of the rice just being part of the plate.

spanish DH here. He has no problem eating 2 starches, I have to think of the rice just being part of the plate.
that's so funny. my dh HATES rice.
he eats it, but NEVER plain. he needs some kind of sauce or bean on top.
I love white rice. especially dominican/pr style...I could eat it for days.
