AF question

So I got AF on Monday, at exactly 4 weeks after my m/c. So as of today I'm still bleeding and its pretty heavy (sorry TMI). I usually have a very light and short period but this time is heavy and today is my 5th day and it doesnt look it'll be stopping anytime soon. Is that normal?

I was told by my OB that AF would most likely be heavier than normal--you should be ok just keep an eye out to see if it gets worse.
