Liam Patrick 2/11/09

I want to start off by thanking all of you ladies on this board. After having a miscarriage and having difficulty getting pregnant again,there is no way I would have made it through these 9 months without you. With all the pain and anxiety you all managed to assure me that everything was going to be ok and sure enough it was. So thank you for being so patient with me and open minded to all my questions.

Wednesday 2/11/09 at about 1 am i started having cramping and constant feeling of going to bathroom. Now my first impression was its nerves considering I was scheduled to have a Csection on Feb 12th at 1230. We woke up and went to preadmisson testing and cramping was still there comming every 5 to 6 mins tolerable but there. Nurse called me to do the registration process and she asked if i was ok and then the tears started and i told her what i was feeling. We called my doctor who told me to go to L&D to be checked. So needless to say we never finished the preadmission process went over to L&D went on monitors adn sure enough i was having contraction every 5 to 6 mins. I was only 1 cm dialated. They were gonna send me home but they pain was too intense and just getting worse. Before i know it anestesia (sp) was in room asking me questions and im being wheeled in to OR prep area. Now im freaking out because i have never had any surgery and couldnt believe we are doing this now. Im one that plans everything and this was not on the agenda for the day. Liam thought differently and has decided he did not want to share his birthday with Lincoln and he wanted his own.
With exception of the spinal Csection went perfect. Here i am having contractions and they are telling me to relax and arch my back. (hello this isnt easy considering my stomach is hard as a rock) after 3 attempts we finally got it. So with out further adeiu Liam Patrick was born at 450 pm 2/11/09 weighing 7lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long.
Im soo in love and he is so perfect.....


Now for those going for growth sonos.. mine was way off. 35 weeks they had baby weighing 6lbs 13 oz and said he would be close to 9 lbs at birth. SOOO not the case.
