I had one removed on Friday by a plastic surgeon. The removal itself was nothing and I really felt no pain after. The dr. told me not to lift things or reach for things or reach over things etc. for a period of 4 wks. The thing is I have a toddler. DH has been great and I have not lifted DS at ALL since this was done however, tomorrow he has to go back to work. The thing is when I sit I am fine - however, just from doing leaning etc. around the house washing stuff for DS - preparing meals etc. my back gets SO sore and if i don't sit for a while it only gets worse. I know it is what I am doing that is aggravating it b/c when i wake up i feel completely fine. The problem is starting tomorrow i will have to lift DS in and out of the crib, the high chair, the pnp and do everything for him - I am worried it is going to hurt the healing process (stretch the skin, stitches etc as the dr. warned) or be so painful for me.
