Can any of you suggest a book about similes that also surrounds a theme of Spring???

Did your professor ask specifically for that? That seems very specific!
I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I would go to the local library and flip through some books on spring. If anything is describes as "like" or "as" you've got a book with similes about spring. Good luck!

Quick as a Cricket is a good book to use. Maybe not so springy but a good one for self confidence.

That is the exact book I was thinking of. It is great to teach similies and there are so many great follow up activities to do with the students.
