TTC after D&C
I just had a D&C last Tuesday and my doc told me that we can start TTC most likely within 2 weeks...i was just wondering for those that have gone through this when you started to O again...I know everyone is different...just curious!

I'm so sorry for your loss Jenna
I think I O'd 2 weeks later, but it could be different for everyone.
But my doctor told me to wait one full cyle at least before trying again so that your lining could shed.

no I don't mind at all
I had mine on January 22, but since it was my second m/c and I have some genetic issues I'm going to be doing IVF in April, but I have been O'ing right on schedule ever since. But I'm not TTC on my own right now

I had one in December and was given the go-ahead for the next cycle... he wanted to make sure that I had one full cycle completed before trying again...

I had sent you an FM about my experience so far but the first time around it took me about 3 cycles to get my first BFP. But those 3 cycles were veryy far apart (irregular periods)

I got my AF 28 days after the procedure and O'd 16 days after that.
Yep....you should be good to go!

I don't know when I Oed but I waited a full cycle to TTC again after my first mc. This time I'm waitin g a little longer, but that's b/c I want to be emotionally ready.

My doctor recommended that I wait until I get two periods to start TTC again. I've gotten one so far. I'm tracking my cycle and temping but I'm not using ovulation kits yet. I'll start back up again after my next period. But I'm pretty sure I ovulated around the middle of my cycle like I was before the D&C.

First, I am so sorry your loss. I think that I ovulated about 2 weeks after the D&C because I got a BFP about 4 and half weeks after the D&C.

After my D&C I o'ed about 3 weeks after and got my AF 5 1/2 weeks after d&C. GL!!!

im a little surprised the doctor said 2 weeks... both my obgyn's said 3 months wait for a d&c....gives the wall time to thicken back up again
when i had my d&c- their was more tissue than usual- so the doctor had me wait 6 months- althought we ended up waiting a year( i joined weight watchers and lost 50 lbs- so i would be overweight instead of obese when ttc again)....
