Relay for Life
We've been recruited by my niece!! Has anyone done this before? What is the deal with walking all through the night? Do you take turns (hence relay)? Any input from BTDT relayers would be greatly appreciated!! TIA!

Re: Relay for Life
I've done it for my SIL.
We didn't walk all through the night. The walk was just done at night in a group as a support system. You carry a lighted balloon as a survivor, supporter or in memory of. It's a nice walk seeing all the balloons lit up.

Re: Relay for Life
I normally do it every year, You can walk in teams and you can take breaks... They do have a coffee stand if you want coffee, They also have a dj, Last year i didn't stay for the whole night because it was tooo cold... They also have a Dj that plays music all night. They do chinese auctions, Raffles, 50/50 prizes. And at night they light the bags with the candles in them and they do a walk of the people who have passed on or in remission. Good luck.

Re: Relay for Life
We stay pretty late but not over night. I try to walk as many laps as I can. Our team doesn't take turns, they just walk when they want to.
Where are you guys walking ??? We do the one in Middle Village, Queens.
