I don't think ours covers braces...we got a $6,000 quote from BM and we know that SD will probably be getting them very soon.

I still don't know all of your background, but is the braces explicitly in the agreement about SD?
Although something tells me I could do a search for "braces" on this board and come up with lots of info!
I have to go look at DH's agreement with BM. I forget what it says on this issue and now I am curious.

We paid 100% for ours. Insurance covered half. BM doesn't have 2 nickels to rub together~

DH had to agree to a lot of things in order to help "finalize" things as far as the divorce goes. BM doesn't bend on anything and DH is basically a check every month to her. She gets a lot of money every month and still complains that he doesn't do enough.

That would also be FH (DH in 5 days!) - but she gives him total $h!t if he doesnt answer his cell phone for stupid things that can wait.. such as - what color outfit do you want me to pack her to wear for the party in 4 months?!? .. but on the $$ issue.. he is just a paycheck.. and rubs in both our faces how much $$ her new hub makes.. 'oh and its cash off the books' - i am banking that for the day we go to court for more CS... id hate for the IRS to have to audit them...

oh yes, I know what you mean...BM used to give DH such a hard time if he wasn't running on time according to HER...yet 98% of the time, we would wait, and wait and wait for her to meet with SD..definately not fair all around.

I'll never forget the day that I had to pick up SS from his mom's but since she is an hour away I met her at a meeting point to take SS to the movies. I was 5 min late b/c of a broken traffic light and the hag sang to me "your late, your late, your late".

Braces can be sooo !! However, the good thing for us is that BM is responsible for 55% of out-of-pocket medical/Dental expenses.
