Length of a cover letter?
There is a job at SUNY SB that I will be applying for this week. I wrote the cover letter but it's a whole page long and I know that's too long. I don't know what to cut though because I want to make sure they know how qualified I am for the position.
What do you think is an appropriate length for a cover letter? 1/2 a page??

I dont' have much experience with cover letters, but right now my sister is writing tons as she is applying to job after job with different school districts. Her's are usually about 3/4 of a page long (the body, not including dates and addresses).

Thanks girls. I got it down to about a half a page and I think it's a good length now - not overwhelming.
