Idol Spinoff....wt*?
Ok i understand that they have to do the cheesy group singing crap but it was SOOOO obvious that they were lipsynking (i can't spell) it was terrible...ummm i thought this was a SINGING contest???

Yeah it was really obvious last week too. Why cant they just sing? its supposed to be a live show- not pre-recorded singing!!

I JUST noticed it this week! My boss has been saying that they lip sync for weeks now but I could never tell. Last night, I SO saw it! I don't get it, either. It's a singing competition so SING gosh darnnit!

wow, i never realized. And freaking DH deleted it from the DVR this morning  so i can't replay it. I thought it looked real though - esp when Allison was singing. So that's crazy. I'm gonna pay better attention next week.

I've been saying that they aren't singing live for a few weeks. Last week there was an article on yahoo from a producer saying that the group number (ONLY) is prerecorded. They said they do that because of the audience noise and all the dancing they do.

I noticed it mostly with Scott. He was singing way bigger than what he was actually supposed to be saying. It was SO obvious!

I noticed one week that when they do the playback's at the end of each singers performance, they are recorded b/c Lil Rounds said a word differently in the playback than in the live performance.
I agree I thought the group songs were recorded.

Yeah, DH said, you know none of them are singing right. And I read some where that one of the older contestants said that none of them like the group songs because they have to lip sing
