'Tis the week of family bonding. My SIL flew in on Sunday night, my ILs are coming in today.
We're spending Weds night's seder with DH's whole family - aunt, uncles, cousins, cousins' kids, parents, and sister  It should be a zoo, but fun.
Thurs night we're going to my parents - and for once, dinner with my family will be the "quiet" night!

Pretty far. My parish is in East Islip. However, if you make the trip, at the Good Friday service at 3:30 we SING the entire Passion - its an arranged operetta. Pretty cool.

well - on good friday im taking my b-pics!! how holy is THAT? lol 
we dont go to church or anything... we will just go to dinner with DH's family on easter sunday and head to my aunts house for dessert
that just made me laugh out loud.

Food Friday & Easter is a pretty serious holiday for me and i was kind of bummed to be so far from my family this year 
Friday me & Dh will be going to a Good Friday service at our church.
Saturday - nothing special as of yet. I'd LOVE to dye some eggs. lol. But we'll see. That's kinda dorky since we've got no kids here, but oh well 
Easter Sunday - we'll be going to our church and then meeting at his Aunts house for Brunch afterwards. (it's like a 2 hr drive tho so I really hope that church doesn't get out LATE, ya know?)

Good Friday: I always do the Stations of the Cross with my mother on Good Friday but I have to work. DH and I will dye eggs @ night
Saturday: Pre-Easter with DH's family. and baking.
Sunday: Church with DH and my mom then off to Eastern LI for my dad's birthday and Easter brunch with his side of the family
phew!

We are going to church & then to DH's Aunt's house for dinner 9we eat early like 230) & then at 6 we are goign to my family for dessert.
