Why does my fever keep coming back???

I'm hoping someone can clue me in here...

On Friday afternoon, I started feeling all the hallmarks of being feverish. Sure enough, I had a 101.5 fever. DH works from home, so I was very luck that he was able to take care of DD for the rest of the day while I slept.

No fever on Saturday or Sunday.

Still feeling good on Monday... Until the late afternoon. Took my temp...101.8. Made a Dr. appointment for today, because they couldn't fit me in.

Of COURSE, I go to the Dr. this morning and do not have a fever. Dr. tells me it must have broken, and to call if it comes back. At about 4pm, I'm shaking all over because I can't get warm. I take 2 tylenol, even though my temp is 98.7. I wake up ONE HOUR later and take my temp again. 102!!! AFTER 2 Tylenol! And of course, too late to call the Dr.

Has anyone had this? I'm starting to lose my mind--we're supposed to be driving to Atlanta for Easter so DD can meet my aunts and uncles.

My friends 21 yr old son had this recently and it turned out to be mono ! I'm not saying you could have it ,but that was the outcome of his situation I hope you feel better

Oh no ,I totally did't wan't to freak you out Im sure that isn't it !! I actually spoke with her this morning and he also had strep maybe the fever was from that ? Are you feeling better?

I was...until the clock struck 3. I was getting out of the shower and I had that creepy-crawly cold feeling again. My temp is back up to 101.5. Dr. said if it lasts through the night again to come back in tomorrow

Oh wow !! I can't believe it !! I hope you get better fast and don't have to be hospitalized please keep us updated !
