Did anyone not find out the sex of their twins?
Although I'm still very early and obviously anything could happen, I've been thinking about this. I think we would have definitely been team green if it was a singleton but now with twins, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to find out instead of waiting?

Re: Did anyone not find out the sex of their twins?
We're not finding out. It's very tempting but I'm sticking to my guns with this one!!!
DS's room, which will become the nursery, is already painted in neutral colors. I have plenty of cloths from DS and my sister has girl clothes. So, there is no need for me to find out in order to prepare. At least this is what I'm telling myself so that I don't try to find out!

Re: Did anyone not find out the sex of their twins?
If it were my 1st PG, maybe, but with a toddler, Im a bit nuerotic about plannign and being "Ready". I have a history of pre term labor so with my son , I had his room, all his clothes EVERYTHING ready by 29 weeks Im just a planner and I cannot handle the suspense.

I did not want to know. I love the surprise of that moment. And especially with twins it was double exciting. We just had 4 names picked out. And there are plenty of neutral colors.

I had always said I wanted to wait to find out, but then when I got pregnant I changed my mind, especially after knowing it was twins! We had a hard enough time picking out two names, let alone 4!!

i found out the second i could and would not want to wait for any reason. i think its always a surprise when you find out and i wanted to plan. i actually dont understand the point in waiting. also i didnt want the drs to know something about me and my body and not tell me. i know not everyone agrees but that is just my opinion.

Re: Did anyone not find out the sex of their twins?
We didn't find out. We just painted the rooms neutral and bought green/yellow clothes. We're not finding out for this baby due in September either. I actually wanted to know both times, but my DH was soooo against it. So I waited. The moment when the baby comes and the doctor tells you is like no other moment in your life. It is hard to wait (I could have known this past Tuesday), but it is worth it. We had 4 names picked out also. And my OB doesn't look at all at the gender, so he doesn't even know so there aren't any slips. I think more people find out than don't these days, though. It really does make the waiting awesome - so much build up for a wonderful surprise (that's why I caved when my DH didn't want to know again).

Re: Did anyone not find out the sex of their twins?
IMO that is a bad idea. With one I could see but with 2 you are going to need a lot more. Who wants yellow, white and green. What if it is a boy and girl. You won't get any cute girlie clothes. I had 2 boys and I am so glad I knew so that at my shower I got almost everything I needed. I dressed them the same and I got 2 of the same outfits. If they know it is a boy and girl you can ask for coordinating outfits for them. I would never want to not know. You are going to need all the help you can get financially and you will have to return items and you will not have time for that...trust me.

Re: Did anyone not find out the sex of their twins?
With my first son we didn't find out, but when we found out we were having twins I felt that I really wanted to know so that I could be ready. But both times my instincts were right anyway, I just knew what we were having anyway.
