Anyone else feeling freaked out by the murder-suicide in GC?

I don't know... it feels a little too close to home. It is unfathomable, but I can't help myself from wanting to know more. How can a man do this to his family?

I was just telling DH about this today. I just keep thinking about his daughter who saw him strangle her mother then come after her.

THEN the older daughter comes to the room and saw her mother and sister dead and knowing she didn't have a chance.

Just breaks my heart!

Also, did he have this whole thing planned hence the family visit down to MD to the eldest daughter??

It is awful!! I can't believe what I am reading and seeing these days. I feel like people EVERYWHERE are just snapping!

Am I the only person that thinks he was set up???? Idk if I'm just being naive but someone owes that much $$$ to people, you have some crazy SOBs coming after you! Something like that could EASILY be faked!

Ihonestly don't know...I just find it amazing that no one fought back!

I know...and maybe its me who knows...but it just seems waaaaaaay too out there to believe.

HOW do you let your father/husband beat your mother or children. I would have done SOMETHING to defend myself!!! And how the FFFFFFF did no one else HEAR this fighting???!!! It had to have been loud enough to alert SOMEONE!!!

Seriously...think about it. He couldn't possibly beat or strangle more than one person at a time. There was 3 of them!!!

Like I said...it just dosen't add up to me

yes leave this poor family alone and let these people RIP ... like the cover of newsday today, the older daughter with all her friends from Loyola leave them alone to grieve and begin their healing I know how I was after my dad passed and the last thing I would want was to be reminded at every turn I make, tv, magazines, newspapers etc.

personally i feel bad for the family members.

I knew a few people growing up that were living in a hotel (went to h/s with them) their parents snapped after they lost their job or their income was slashed. All of the parents were high income/high stress jobs and went from living in Manhassat to living in a motel in Lindy/Copaugie (sp) none of them killed anyone but just snapped and became insane. I had to help this friends out all the time because the were basically taking care of their parents now.

I think this trend will be more common (not killing but snapping) because people are used to bringing in 300K+ money and now they get bumped down to the real world of maybe making 100K and less. I am really interested in if it was a murder suicide or someone came after them. I will wait for facts though - its kinda a hard call.

I feel so sorry for this family and think about it all of the time. I drive past their house everyday for work and the past couple of days there have been hundreds of people on the lawn and in the street.

Also, yesterday when I drove past there was a locksmith in the driveway.

I agree this just does not add up to me. I know the father was an attorney with money problems but I dont think killing your entire family would be a solution. Something just is too strange about this entire case.

Also, when I saw a picture of the dad he looks skinny and I dont understand how with three of them they couldn't stop any of this???
