Spinoff to the work vent post

Anyone at your job use the bathroom while talking on the cell phone?


I find it SO awkward and have witnessed this numerous times. I work in a school. and some of the fellow teachers will come in and make a poop with a phone in hand. TOTALLY GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've always found that kind of thing awkward!! I remember being in the mall bathroom once and sitting in a stall next to this woman who was just peeing away while having a conversation on the phone. So odd. The only time I'd ever use the phone while on the toilet would be if i was just talking to one of my sisters anyhow and I was at home. hehe. (but never in a public bathroom OR pooing - that's sick)

I think it's really gross and rude (to the one on the other end) to use your phone in the bathroom!

ugh, get ready to yak

I work with almost all guys, im in medical capital equipment sales. On an almost daily basis, I walk into one of the 3 personal bathrooms and find a blackberry sitting on top of the spare toilet paper canister with Brick Breaker paused...

aka they are on the shitttter playing brick breaker, pause to wipe and then forget the blackberry

I've never experienced that. TG! But, I remember when I worked in a "mostly male" office. It was only 3 girls and 9 men. The newspaper would be on the front desk with the restroom key. Some men would take the paper and the key and then come back and put the paper back on the desk. I find that gross! I know where that paper has been!
