Good luck to everybody without A/C
The next few days are supposed to be WARM so I just wanted to wish everybody without AC in their rooms good luck!!
I'm not looking forward to the next few weeks! I'm in a new district this year, and my old district had AC... so this is a whole new game for me! I already bought a couple pairs of "nice" knee- length shorts to wear and a couple dresses.. we'll see how it goes!

Are there really schools out there that have A/C in all rooms? I would LOVE this to happen!

haha not many! in my last district (i'm in NJ) we just got lucky with a good PTA who raised money to buy each room a window AC unit. apparently the PTA in this school offered to do the same thing, but the district/superintendent wouldn't let them for some reason

Our school (Newburgh) had a PTA who raised $ and bought classroom A/C's - now they are breaking and the district hardly comes to fix them.

I have an a/c in my room. Only problem is it's SOOOOO loud that we end up shouting back and forth! I really can't complain though. It's definitely better than nothing!

My school has a/c in all the rooms.....we just don't have enough books for the kids, copy paper, chalk, pencils or toilet paper for the ladies room.

No AC here. The it was beautiful in the morning with the windows open. By 8th pd (1pm) it was a little uncomfortable, but not too bad. I am just so glad spring is here!!

My mom's school is a brand new school and I believe it is CAC. I have AC in one of my rooms. NOt the others though!
