Temporary to Permanent positions

would you accept it? How does this benefit the potential employee and not just the employer? If you take a job, and you were on UE, then let's just say it does not work out in the few months or so that it's temporary, can you go back on UE? Can someone help? TIA

i would def accept it, esp in this market.

heres why its good:

its a chance to see if YOU like it personally. if u DONT like it, ur UE doesnt get canceled. you can def go back on it.

i did a temp job for a month, and was able to get UE back right away...btw..send me ur resume!!

Re: Temporary to Permanent positions

That's how I got my current job. I was temp for 3 months before becoming FT. Make sure you get everything in writing re: benefits and salary once the transition happens.

Re: Temporary to Permanent positions

I would definitely do it. That is how I got my last job they hired me on as a temp then 6 months later they hired me permanently. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I am currently unemployed too and this is one of the routes I am taking to secure a job.
