I called my niece for her 4th birthday...
I called my niece for her fourth birthday and the conversation went a little something like this:
Me: Hi, it's Aunt Kara. Happy Birthday!
Niece: Hi Aunt Kara... It's my birthday!
Brother (her father) in background: Tell Aunt Kara what you got for your birthday.
Niece: I got a pony for my birthday!
Brother: You got a pony for your birthday? No, you didn't!
Niece: YES I DID! I got a PONY!
Me: (playing along) Wow, that's really cool!
Brother: What about the bike you got?
Niece: Oh yeah, I got a bike, too... but I like the pony.
Brother: (joking) Are you going to give away your bike so you can get a pony?
Niece: (to her father) NO! Why are you going to give away my bike?????
(to me) - I have to go now. Bye! (to her father) Where's my bike???

She's hysterical. I was unfortunately stuck in a meeting for work ALL DAY and didn't get to call her until 8 PM (which is bed time). I think it was a combination of her bubbly "funny" personality and being overtired.
