DH is coming down with a cold and I am FREAKING OUT!!!
he never gets sick! maybe once every 2 years. He just told me he has a sore throat and feels a cold coming on.
I am going to load him up with echinacea and vitamin C as soon as he comes home.
I am really nervous!!!!!!!

Don't worry too much. If he has the flu, he'll know it, and pretty quickly. It usually hits you like a ton of bricks fast. If he still feels like he has a cold in a few hours, that's what I would guess it is, a cold.

I have the exact same thing at this moment and am trying to stay calm about it. if g-d forbid he has more then a cold there r meds to help him! Try to stay calm

Most likely if it is coming on slowly it is either a cold or very likely it is allergy season so it could definitely be allergies many people are having allergy issues now. The flu hits you pretty quickly and pretty hard so I wouldn't stress too much.

If he has swine flu, he would without a doubt know it. There was a doctor on channel 2 last night going over all the symptoms. HIGH fever of 104-105, severe severe headache, he said the worst headache you would have in your life, extreme body aches, extreme fatigue. You would not even be able to get out of bed.100% your dh has the regular common cold or allergies.

Yup. Last time I had the flu (not swine), I remember sneezing and being flat on my back, barely able to get up and go to the bathroom within an hour or two. It moves fast and hits hard.

fyi, the REGULAR seasonal flu is going around too!
I know, because, I am just getting over it! I went to my dr because I got sick and was nervous esp w/ all the hype in the media now, and I without a doubt JUST have the regular season flu! My doctor said it's STILL going around, so don't be too quick to panic!
I hope your DH is feeling better!
