Mother's Day
What are you doing with your kids for mother's day?
I am looking for some ideas for third grade

I have them copy this poem onto a heart and attach a tea bag to the back. Wrap it in cellophane and call it a day!
Mom,
I'm not always just perfect,
Even though I try.
Sometimes when I'm not so great
You give a little sigh!
On days like that I wish
I could give you cause to smile
And have you put your feet up,
To rest a little while.
So the next time you're tired,
And it's because of me,
Please sit down and relax a while,
And have a cup of tea!

im looking for ideas too.. but i have my kids write a paragraph with 4 specific details of what makes their mom the best..
we have parents come in and make a craft... usually a flower pot w/ small flower and soil..
ive made bookmarks and put a poem on them from comp..
also the photo flower that was said..
