If you enjoyed "The Pilot's Wife," you should read "The Weight of Water" -- I really enjoyed that!

LOVED this book!!!
and told DH that if he ever *thinks* about becoming a pilot, we were DONE. he had no clue what i was talking about, But, he hasnt tried to become a pilot yet, so i guess it worked

 You know what's funny,once upon a time I wanted to be a pilot.

I loved that book! I read it some time ago but I couldn't put it down til I was finished. It made me nuts though just thinking about her finding out about everything.
