Never scrapbooked before!!
So I was looking into making a scrapbook for DS before he arrives... I want to create it then add the pics as the year progresses..... Starting with him in womb.. then birth... then every month for a year!!! Anyone know where they do scrapbooks classes or clubs... I need something to get me motivated and just need help.. I want it to be beautiful!!!

Most of the small local scrapbooking stores have classes. Larger stores like Michael's and AC Moore don't really do scrapbooking classes.
However, scrapbooking is really all about individual creativity. You don't need a class.
To start with paper scrapbooking (versus digital), you can buy an all inclusive kit just to get started, and then add on. An internet search will show you page layouts that other people have done, and will give you some ideas. I have this thread saved to look at for ideas/inspiration.

what might help - at Michaels - they have a baby album kit you can buy, it comes with the album, some paper, embellishments and a small idea pamphlet. Get the 40% coupon in the paper on Sunday - there is a boy and a girl one..not sure if there is a neutral one.
Comes in 2 sizes - 8x8 and 12 x 12.

i started scrapbooking a couple of years ago and i have yet to take a class...but yet people always ask me where i get my ideas....go to scrapbook.com....you will get a lot of ideas. another option is to go on ebay and type in baby scrapbook and you will get ideas from the premade layouts that people are selling....i hope this helps you it always helps me!!!

I also wanted to bring up digital scrapbooking. It does not have the same look as regular scrapbooking, but for someone like me who has no money  I like the fact that I can use the digital elements, papers, etc. over and over again. And they are relatively cheap and there are plenty of great sites that offer freebies.
