I'm back from CA!!!
hey everyone,
well, everything went better than expected. i found out that my case of asherman's was considered "mild", thank god.
i had a hysterscopy done and the adhesions were removed from my uterus and a "foley cathetar" was inserted. this is kind of like a straw to hold my cervix and uterus open while i heal to prevent the scar tissue from reforming.
well, i had to keep that in for a week so i had it removed yesterday. and i am on estrogen for 30 days to rebuild my endo. and then i will take prog. for a week to "jump start" af....
after i am done with my meds, i have to have a HSG and a mid-cycle ultrasound. if those two things come back a-ok, then we can get back on the ttc wagon again.....
wheew......i am staying positive and hoping for the best...the doc gave me a 99.9% cure rate, but with the way my luck has been going lately - i won't feel happy until i know for sure.
just wanted to thank everyone for the support. i have been catching up on all the girls here and i must say, "what a tough bunch we are!!"...everyone here is going through so much - HSG's, IUI's, IVF's, hysts, laps, hormones, testing, etc....
i just want to say that i think about and pray for everyone on this board every day. i never knew ttc would be like this as i'm sure you all did not either. eventually, we will all graduate and be able to put these trying times behind us!!!

Ohhh I am SO happy for you that everything so far has gone well!! I am sure you will heal quickly and hop right on this ole bandwagon!! I was definitely praying for you and so glad to hear from you....

You have no idea how happy I am to read your post and hear that your surgery was successful!
Every since you posted your story on TTC, I have thought about you often and have kept you in my prayers... you have been through so much and I am thrilled that your condition was diagnosed as "mild" and the prognosis for your future fertiliy (and TTC) is very optimistic !!
I hope you are feeling better very soon and I thank YOU for thinking about everyone on this board and for being so supporitve of US during your trying times
