Junk food recipe thread! What's your favorite dessert to make?

DH's new favorite is Cookie Pie. Its basically a chocolate chip cookie in a pie crust. And it's not hard at all! (The hard part is burning off the calories afterwards...)

2 eggs
1/2 cup unsifted flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup butter, melted and cooled to room temp
6 oz pkg of smi-sweet choc. chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
9-inch unbaked pie shell (I like the ready-made graham cracker kind).

Preheat oven to 325. In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy w/electric mixer. Add sugar, brown sugar, and slowly add flour. Add melted butter. Beat until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Pour into pie shell. Bake 50 mins-1hr. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. Chat Icon

-Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.
-Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition
-Pour over brownie layer
-Spoon chocolate over cream cheese mixture, cut through cheese and chocolate mixture several times to achieve a marble effect.

This isn't my FAVORITE dessert but it's healthy and delicious..

Slice up an apple, sprinkle cinnamon on top, warm it in the microwave for 30 seconds, top it with low fat chocolate syrup and/or whipped cream. It's great! It would also be good prepared a la mode! Chat Icon

Re: Junk food recipe thread! What's your favorite dessert to make?

There is just something about the simple Duncan Hines cake from a box with some icing -- always tastes really good!

And you can never go wrong with simple things like cupcakes, cookies hot from the oven or rice krispy treats -- there is a reason why everyone loves these things!

I also love brownies from a box -- I undercook them just a touch so they are really gooey.
