Nothing. Not even anything from the kids themselves which I thought was weird b/c every year, there are 3-4 kids that give a card or gift. Hey, not complaining...just thought it was strange that my colleagues didn't seem to get anything either.

my school did it during the whole week...from the admins we got
Monday- free candy
Tuesday-chinese food of our choice
Wed- Free Tacos
Thurs-?
Friday- Yummy Cake
I had students give me cards and one gave me flowers

we got lunch and an "individual" letter from the principal...which I'm sure was form, with just some specific things added in.

My school/county does Teacher Appeciation Week
Monday-Admin. got us lunch and dessert
my class each brought me in a flower
Tuesday-kids brought in school supplies and a room mom made it into a cute basket, and a room mom brought me in lunch
Wednesday- each kid brought me a homemade card, and another room mom brought me lunch
Thursday-each kid brought in a piece of fruit and they made me a fruit basket
Friday-PTA had a lunch for the teachers and the kids had sent in money and the room mom bought some games for the class.

I got this too!
Our PTA was great. On Monday we got breakfast, Wednesday we got little gifts (windchimes and a desk shaped photo holder) and Friday we got lunch. It was very generous!

One year an English teacher had the kids write letters of appreciation to a teacher past or present. That was my favorite

And Christine (mathteach) - they have NO significance at all! Maybe they were trying to tell us all that we have stinky teacher breath?

we got a bagel breakfast. i didn't go. my fellow colleagues always act like wild animals around free food. i once got pushed out of the way of the soda table while i was pouring a cheap plastic cup full of 7UP. That was it for me.
