Failed Root Canal?

I had a root canal in March/April it was done about a month ago. It hurt like a SOB for a good 2 weeks after and I have felt good for 2 weeks now, no pain but yesterday i am having dull aches in it. I want to cry, I want this to be over!!! Any ideas?

I had one - they redid it and it still wasn't right. I ended up getting an apicotomy and that finally took care of it.

Call the dentist, let them know you're still in pain.

After one of my root canals, I had some mild pain/discomfort for a few months afterwards. It did eventually go away.

Yup, that sounds like what I went through as well. I went to a different guy, and they saw a big piece of the root still in there on the x-ray.

Embarrassed to say, but that was 10 years ago and I still haven't taken care of it. My endodontist was AWFUL and I don't think I've fully gotten over it

Hmmm... I don't know what to think now.

My tonsile is swollen on that side and painful. My glands under that side are also painful. I think it's infected. The one I had after the root canal was done never fully went away. That is my guess. For what this root canal cost this thing better have been done right the 1st time or I want a refund!!
