Moving out of our school district.. question

So I just had Ry's CPSE meeting this week, for the summer and 09-10 school year.

We are moving over the summer into the Three Village school district. What do I need to do besides register him in the district? Do I need to have another CPSE meeting or will they just go off of Pat-Meds?

You will probably have to have another CPSE meeting at the new district. They may use what the previous district has already done but the IEP may need to be adjusted in order to fit with their programs. I would contact the Special Educaiton office at the new district and explain the situation so that they can schedule you for a summer meeting.

When I went through this I was told the new district has to implement the IEP from the previous district, and they have 30 days to hold a new CPSE/CSE meeting.

I personally wouldn't have a Summer meeting since it's usually the sub-committee and the people in there will never have met your child and none of her current therapists would be present.
