Research
Just curious if any of you guys plan on participating in any of the research studies on twins?
I was a psych major in college & we were always making our friends fill out surveys on things. As payback, my twin & I did some psych exams for Stony Brook after we were out of college - it was pretty interesting.
There are plenty of websites, I can find some & post for those that want to contribute to the environment vs genetic debates.

Re: Research
I remember when I was about 8 or 9, my mom participated in some sort of twin study....I have no idea what it was for. Anyway...a lady came to our house, and asked me and my twin questions separately....the paid my mom $25 for participating...and she gave us the money, so we each got $12.50....we thought we were rich

do they still do these studies though? I thought the only real validity came from monozygotic twins that were basically separated at birth (otherwise, how can you distinguish between nature vs. nurture if they grew up in the same environtment, ya know?)

Re: Research
We are having identical and it's something me and DH have talked about. IN the beginning, probably no...but if it's not too invasive and can make the kids some money when they are older i would be up for it. It will help science and the girls/boys can make some allowance money.

thats exactly it. If they grow up in the same environment and are different than it must be nature. I dont think they have to be identical.
