What happened to this board?
I really had high hopes for this board and it seems like it fizzeld out.
Too bad the drama at the start of this board put a damper on some people posting here!! 
Lets get this board moving...its not like we have kids to hold us back!!

I don't understand why that dumb drama would cause anyone to not want to post here.
I think we just need to make more of an effort to come here... sometimes I forget to check over here ya know.
Maybe some new topics as well...
I'm trying to come up with some...

I don't know. I hold back a lot of times when I want to post here due to the lookie loo's and lurkers. I really felt uncomfortable when all the parents starting posting on here, made me think twice about being able to speak my mind freely. But, I'm game for giving it a try again!!

I would love to post here more, but I don't because I know people on other boards will not like what I have to say.
Even things that are non-issue's I feel will start drama.
Like if I say, I am so happy I got to laze around eat pizza all day, I'm afraid someone's come flying at me like, what? Just because I have kids means I can't laze around and eat pizza all day?

why should I give a crap what anyone else thinks about how I feel about having kids.
The point is some people arent respectful to us and know that its our opinion....some have to post how wrong we are!!

I don't give a crap what anyone else thinks, but I also don't feel like subjecting the whole board to drama every time I want to vent or post a comment. THAT isn't productive or helpful. It turns the entire thread into drama and derails the actual question or discussion intended.
So yes, if you want to know the truth, the initial drama on this board DID put a bad taste in my mouth and DID cause me to censor what I say on this board. I get the whole "it's a free country and anyone can post whatever they want and read whatever board they want" but what went down on this board was downright ridiculous. I just don't feel like dealing with defensive people (at whom my comments aren't even aimed) every time I want to vent or make a comment here.
I still think this board should stay and I hope it eventually evolves into a great place for childless families to post... but I'm always just going to be thinking that the parents are reading and just waiting for an opportunity to chime in. Yeah, free world, post on whatever board you want... but I'm not setting myself up for that type of drama again.

I know!! What's the big freaking deal that there are some people that choose not to have children? It was so upsetting that non-mainstream feelings and opinions have to be challenged or put down upon. I don't think badly of people with children and don't try to convince them their lives would be better without them.
Live and let live! I genuinely want everyone to have the life they want what ever that may be!
