I need ideas....
I was assigned a craft project by my MIL her aunt's birthday
I am supposed to take a selection of old photos of her aunt and make a collage.
She gave me a large posterboard (thick foam kind) and she gave me blue felt to cover it.
I don't want it to be plain and ugly. Please help with any ideas of what I can do to make it look nice.
For instance, I am not really feeling the blue felt but I don't know what color would be nice, I have lots of different colored ribbon (but what do I do with it)...I do have glue dots for the pictures and thats about as far as I am for creativity.

Re: I need ideas....
What about covering the posterboard with wrapping paper?
You could attach the ribbon to the posterboard in a criss cross pattern like those memo boards. Then stick the photos in at angles behind the ribbon. Any exposed ribbon joint can be embellished with a big button, bead, silk flower or rhinestone.
Here's a link to the style I am talking about.

I like that Idea!!
I have lots of solid colored wrapping paper too. I like the idea of silk flowers too, maybe a small bow would be nice.
Now I am getting excited about =)
Thanks!
