no return calls
I've been annoyed for some time now by not getting my calls returned by my friends with kids. I know they're busy, I understand, but weeks? sometimes never? 
This happen to anyone else? How do you handle it?

I HATE that!
My life is busy too....KWIM? Just because I dont have kids doesnt mean that I am not busy!
I have lost a few "friends" this way. Too bad they didnt have time for me, is how I looked at it.

OMG...this completely happened to us recently...we became close with another couple not far away and the wife was pregnant...we saw them frequently enough, talked on the phone and when the baby was born, I called and left a few messages and then I would get emails with just pictures in them...I'd respond and then get nothing back..finally, I got 2 brief calls and nothing since..so sad, but I'm not chasing someone...I don't want to look desperate and I've put us out there...argh...

YES and I am so done. Honestly it doesn't take long to pick up the phone. It's not very difficult even if you can't talk long. IMO these people have no respect for their friendships.

I hate that. I feel like b/c their life has changed, we have to suffer. I have lost good friends over this, I can't always be the one trying to keep in touch and maintain contact. It especially pizzes me off when it's a stay at home mom!!

UGHHHHHH ALL OF THEM (my friends i'm complaining about) are stay at home! These are good, close friends of mine. I've decided not to chase. If I don't get a return call i'm not calling a second time or emailing. I'll just let it hang there
