South Bay OB or Oakdale OB?

I went to South Bay 1ce but wasnt "sold"

I would like to know of other people's experiences w/these facilities - or any others affilitated with Good Samaritan Hospital.

I may switch to South Bay myself.

Im on "better" terms..lol with my OBGYn whos at NAssau/Suffolk OBGYN by the way ( next to Good Sam) And they are a great office over all.

My sister had her son at the dr's in south bay. She was orginally with Oakdale and didnt like them. I have heard good things about them, but also like you some bad things...SO I stayed away.

Hi- I belong to South Bay OBGYN. I can tell you that you will always have to wait. My last 2 visits I waited 1.5 hours. Typically the wait is 1 hour. This drives me nuts! Now before I go I am going to call because the recptionist said they typically run 1 hour behind.

My DH is a Surgical sales exec and he sells gynocology equip. He deals with all the top gynos in the tri state area. When one asked him who my dr. was he told him. He then told DH that South Bay has some of the best drs... So it made me feel better but I really hate the waiting!!!!

Well, you won't have to wait with Oakdale OB/GYN, but I can't say I'm completely thrilled with them. This is probably partially bc of my my fertility issues though (none of which are the OB/GYNs fault). My doctor was very nice.

I used to go to South Bay, but left the practice when my doctor left recently. I followed him. FM me if you want to know about my doc, he delivers at good sam.
