A few weeks ago when we were on the poetry unit, my students wrote poems about their moms and gave them for Mother's Day.

Many of them also wrote poems about their dads and asked if they could use it for Father's Day. So, that's when I had the idea that we could design ties with some kind of paper (haven't really though this completely through yet) and write the poem on the tie.

I know it's not a great idea, but it's something If I come up with anything better I'll update.
