making fruit gift baskets

Hey question for ladies who have made gift baskets with fruit. My mom wants to make a sympathy basket but doesnt know how to keep the fruit together inside the wrapping. I think she should just wrap the celophane around the basket to keep it together. She seems to think the fruit should be 'taped' together somehow.

Michaels and ACMoore sell plastic cellophane type bags for that purpose. They come in a bunch of different sizes. And then you could tie it up with ribbon and decorate it however you like.
