Should I call them?

I make it through three rounds of interviews last week...ending with a demo lesson on Friday. They loved my lesson, gave me lots of positive feedback, etc. I walked out of there thinking that I had the job. I got a good feeling from them...

Anyway, here it is, Monday at 10:30am and I haven't heard from them yet. I know they wanted the person they chose to meet with the superintendent today or tomorrow. I really thought they would have called me on Friday to let me know either way, but nothing. Last week they called me about 5 hours after each interview to tell me that I make it to the next round, etc. So it's odd to me that they haven't called yet.

I'm hoping that they would be nice enough to call me, no matter what their decision is. Chat Icon I have had nothing but stomach issues all weekend because I am dying to know already. Ugh!

Should I call them? Or am I being too pushy and impatient? I even thought of emailing them a "thank you for interviewing me" kind of thing and saying that I hope to hear from them soon... what should I do? Chat Icon

Re: Should I call them?

I would send them the e-mail. They may have not made the decision yet and they didn't give you a time frame as to when they would specifically be getting back to people.

I would send them an email thanking them for their time and letting them know you are available for any follow-up interviews or questions they may have.

(I'm not a teacher but an HR person)
