we had DS's therapists over last night for the IFSP meeting. They agreed to up his hours to 6 hours (yay) but I couldn't help but laugh at my son because for some reason it was like he knew he needed to put on a show for them.
As soon as we all sat down to write up the goals (i was sitting on the floor with him) he grabs his rubber duck, hands it to me and says "DUT" (that's how he says duck).
Then he grabs his beach ball, hands it to me and says "baw" (that's how he says ball).
Then he gets a book, flips to the page for the dog and says "dow" (that's how he says dog)
Until finally i just had to say enough Matthew, keep this up and they're not going to give us any services
Usually it's like pulling teeth to get him to say words.
But seriously, i'm so proud of the progress he's made in the last few weeks.
