non-itchy red spots on skin??

what could this be?? I have red spots on my skin ( a few on my arms and a few on my legs). they're maybe 1/2 to an inch and sort of round... they don't itch though!! in fact, if i didn't see them in the mirror, i would even know they were there!
i googled possibilities ( including ringworm ) but these spots don't have the raised edge like it says ringworm would. i've been outside, but i don't think they're any kind of bug bite because i have them on my legs, and my legs were covered up... any ideas??? they're not really bothering me, i'm just so curious! thanks!

Maybe you're having a minor allergic reaction to something? You don't always have to be itchy to be having an allergic reaction.
Have you used any new products or eaten any new foods recently? You could try taking Benedryl and see if the spots go away at all.
