What do you think of Rollins hitting streak?

Should it count carrying over into the second season? Or should all streaks end at the end of the season?

I feel streaks end at the end of the season. I think what Rollins has done is amazing, but to me it's not continuous when you go into another season.

i think if we're counting regular season games, it can be counted as continuous

I heard them talking on FAN about this the other day. The host figured that "if" the streak were to continue to the record of 56 there would be 2 records: one for continous (meaning 2 seasons), and one for in one single season. I believe they did the same thing for Eric Gagne when he was going for the continous save record.

Apparently many players fell that Rollins streak is harder. He basically had to take 5 months off, and try to get back into his groove. I guess the players feel it's tougher to pick up where you left off, than to continue on a hot streak.
