dental people please!
my dh's crown fell out. not cracked or anything.
went to dentist, who I don't trust at all, just asked to have it set back in place.
was told no, there is decay...when he builds it back up crown won't fit.
I find this hard to believe.
thoughts? thanks!

I would just secure it with DenTemp and make an appt. with your dentist (Or a better one if this guy is your real one!) GL.

Re: dental people please!
This is EXACTLY what just happened to me.
I never knew a tooth could decay under a crown!
My Dentist did put in a new post & was able to use the crown still. At first he was saying he would need to do a new post and crown, but he was able to salvage my old one & he used it fine.
$138 bill vs. $550 bill....
I am in RI tho, so I cannot recommend mind unless you live in RI...

Re: dental people please!
Yes crowns can form decay underneath them. It's very possible. The dr should be able to show you what he is talking about either in a mirror or on an xray.
