Re: Anyone see the movie Up?
DW and I actually saw it without DC....
We knew that DC would have problems with the 3D glasses and would be bothering us and everyone around us, so we saw it in 3D, and they'll see it at home when Netflix has it...

I was looking at my cats and contemplating exactly how many balloons it would take to move them.

Re: Anyone see the movie Up?
I saw it with my mom and we knew going in what to expect. unfortunately, my father passed away 2.5 years ago, so everything that happened really effected us, especially my mom. i leaned over to hold her hand or rub her knee, but i didn't want to make a bigger deal out of it and make her cry more.
i like the underlying message it sends though. so overall i thought it was a cute movie!

I don't usually cry at the movies, but I got teary several times. It touches on issues that are close to my heart.

Re: Anyone see the movie Up?
Haven't seen it yet, but I read on the Coming2Terms site that there's a tiny bit about the pain of infertility in the movie.

Yes- there is a very small part, maybe a minute long that touches on this. I didn't even remember that part until you said this, though, so I wouldn't say that's the sad part of it. JMO.

Re: Anyone see the movie Up?
DH and I went to see this on our anniversary. We loved it, but both of us were SOBBING in the beginning of the movie. I was so happy we were two of like 6 people there on a Monday night, or else I would have been totally embarrassed!

Re: Anyone see the movie Up?
I saw it twice (DH and I went to CT to see a screening a few weeks before it came out and loved it so much that we saw it in the theater after it came out). I cried so much the first time and again the second, knowing what was coming (I wasn't even sure about seeing it again I was os sad!).
It was so much funnier than i thought it would be to!
