Today's the day..Update

Today's the day I go for the meds to bring on the m/c...not sure what to expect especailly since everyone is different....so wish me luck! As sad as it is I am kind of looking forward to it so that it can just be over...and to be over it has to start...so here we go...


Well it wasn't really scary..more matter of fact. I went in and the doctor was suprised in the week I didn't bleed on my own so he did another sonogram...the sack had shrunk and he said I could wait if i wanted for it to naturally go...but in all honesty waiting has been the worst. I need this to be over so I can move so I asked for the meds...so really i took 1 pill today...and I take another set of pills tomorrow at 2 (exactly 24 hours from when i took the first) and then 4-6 hours after that it should begin. He gave me a prescription for percosets and also a prescription for an antibiotic to prevent infection...said i should be done by Thursday or friday (with the cramping at least) there is no telling how long i will bleed...but I'm just happy to get it going...I'll deal with this this week...and hopefully start to heal. Thanks for your help ladies!

I took the meds too...internally and then orally about a few days later. I read too much online and thought it was going to be a nightmare. My experience was not that bad and the most I took was a couple of Advil...I hope the same for you.

Just wanted to tell you that I have a friend who took the meds for this- she was really nervous, as well. It didn't turn out to be horribly painful at all- the anticipation seemed way worse than anything else. I remember that she took some high dosage motrin and waited most of the night for the pain to come but she just had some bleeding, that was it.

Also, I have mc at home naturally and it was really more just like a super heavy period with a lot of clots (TMI). It was more emotionally painful than physically.
