Suggestions on how to spend anniversary

I know I want to spend the day in the city, but not sure how. We will be going to dinner later on. It's a Sunday, TIA!

Re: Suggestions on how to spend anniversary

There's always Broadway!

We caught a matinee of Avenue Q - flipping funnnnnny, it's ending in September so if you're interested - go see it. It's a small theatre so don't spend the extra money on good seats. If you're in the mezzanine - you'll see just fine.

Otherwise - I'm not much help - I'm so not a city girl.

Re: Suggestions on how to spend anniversary

We did!

We went on a Saturday morning - it opened at 10am - we got there by 9:30am. The line was long but not too long. This was for a matinee. If you wanted tix to a night show, I think they opened at 2 or 3pm. But then you kinda kill your day waiting on line... So I recommend getting matinee tix.

We got great seats to Avenue Q.

I would go even earlier if you were looking for a popular show like Mamma Mia or something.

Oh - and we ate at Virgil's BBQ. We sat at the bar...I had made reservations but when we got there, the bar was open so we just sat there and cancelled the reservations.
