Lost my motivation...
Hi there fellow scrappers... I was just curious if any of you have ever lost your motivation to scrap and if so, how'd you get it back?
I used to scrap for hours up in my room when I lived at home (before I got married) but now that I am married, I just can't get into it.
Any suggestions on how to get my "flow" back? Has this ever happened to anyone?
All suggestions are welcome...

Ohh yes...its happened to me!!
What I did to try and get my motivation back I would go throughmy scrapping stuff, pull out a few projects that i wanted to work on....and take it one step at a time. for me, if i have too many pictures or I feel like I have to work on one album (like our wedding album) its toomuch for me. So i break it down to one 2 page layout at a time. This way i can work on a variety of pictures and not get board with one theme!!
I also find going to crops helps me....even though I tend to talk all day!!  but at least i get to see what others are working on.

I go through phases of scrapping like a maniac to doing nothing at all. I mostly go with it since I want this to be an enjoyable hobby.
What helps me when I want to scrap is scraplifing (copying another layout) to suit my pictures, maybe do some cards or a different format. I was in a slump in the spring but knocked out a small 6x6 album for DH in a weekend.

I do..I used to do it a lot, now I love to buy the stuff, just cant get back into it..I find myself bored or not wanting to do it before I
even get the stuff all out and ready...

I am like that too.. I bought all the stuff I just can't get into it. I think I have too many projects ready to go just I don't know where to start. But I am going to work on it this weekend and see if I can get back into the groove.

I have two projects that I HAVE to get done this week and I struggled for 5 hours with one of them last night and I really don't have much to show for it. I hope I can make some real progress tonigh since the week is half over.

Ditto.
I do have a Christmas album and I put all the picture cards we get that year. I put little stickers and stencil a few things, but that's the extent of it. Can't believe I spent a small fortune on all this stuff!!!

I'm still waiting for any motivation...I love the idea of scrapbooking...love Michael's and can spend tons of $$ in there...but everything just sits in the bags never to be used. Hopefully one of these days...

I did a real quick gift album last month but other then that I have not scrapbooked in months. I have been adding to my supplies and reorganizing them but that's about it. It's stupid too since I want to and have nothing to do most nights.
