NYC Teachers
Has anyone found out the amount we are getting for teacher's choice this year? Last year they decreased the amount as I was spending.

I think $150 like a previous poster said, but it should be $1000 for all the money I put into materials, etc.  The $150 is nice, but by June it barely makes a dent!
(and no, I'm not seriously saying they should give us each 1000!!  ) I just mean that it's frustrating because I end up spending SO MUCH MORE! In reality though, it's nice that we get anything at all!

Yep, initially it was nothing and then the City Council restored $150 to each teacher. Not enough but it's better than nothing.

I was figuring it would be nothing this year. I still have NO clue why secretaries get money for TEACHER'S CHOICE though

Special ed teachers get a different amount though, I can't find it online.
Secretaries do not get a lot of money. I guess in some schools they buy their own tape/scissors/etc.
