Installing Car Seats
How early should we do this?
With twins I know sometimes they come early.
What week did you do yours?

I did mine at 33 weeks bc I am having Csection at 36 weeks

Iw ill do mine the week before my Dr schedules my c/s. It only took my DH 15 minutes to install my son's so Im not too worried about it.

We installed them a few weeks early because I wanted to make sure that 3 carseats would fit in my car. But with my DS he installed the seat while I was in the hospital.

I would install at 34 weeks. Please keep in mind that int he unfortunate event they come too early, they will be staying in the NICU for a couple of weeks.

We did them around week 30.
We called our local precinct to have them checked, they actually sent an officer to our house. She had a a lot of training in installing car seats. She told us approx 80% of all car seats currently on the road are not properly installed.
I'd call your local precinct and the hospital to see if they have a similar program.
