Toy breed dog mommies

do you take your baby out with you to shop or run errands?
I always want to, but hardly do, mainly because they will get in the way and I am not all that sure being lugged around by mommy is fun for them.

The only time I take one out is to get my FH from the LIRR station.

Yes, but I don't take her in the store unless it's Petco. Mainly we just go to my parents house, return movies and put gas in the car. I won't leave her for more than 5 minutes and not ever when its hot out. When she was really tiny I would stick her in my coat and go everywhere.

yep, i try to take one with me whenever i go out.

i was on LI today and so disappointed how un-dogfriendly they are.

I used to take Emmie everywhere I went. But, it would take me too long because everyone would stop and want to pet her and I couldn't get anything done.

Also, sometimes, she wasn't in the mood to be pet and would cower into me if people tried to pet her and I would get a little embarassed because people would look at me like I was a bad mommy with an anti-social baby.
