Supplemental Health Insurance
My FIL will be retiring soon and we've been asked to help them figure out supplemental health insurance...I have no idea where to start.
Can anyone lead me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Re: Supplemental Health Insurance
I would start here:
AARP
They have articles and links about medigap insurnace that works with medicare and other related topics. I am not sure if it's what your FIL needs but may help you guys find the information you need.
Good luck!

Re: Supplemental Health Insurance
That's a great place to start.
My folks have GHI as their medicare supplement. It does the job. They pay very little for it.
United healthcare has a plan too that is about $300 a month for both my parents but they can't swing that.
Then for medicare I think they take $90 each out of their ss checks.

Re: Supplemental Health Insurance
My mom has GHI as her supplemental insurance also and her premiums are very low.
